The Center is an organization that has been helping the Central Florida LGBTQ community for over 32 years.  Their website best describes what they do, “The Center has worked to foster the personal development and quality of life of the community it serves, as well as to increase understanding and acceptance within the greater Central Florida area.” Today we offer a variety of support and social programs. We offer AA, AL-Anon, NA, CODA, CMA, HIV+ and Transgender support groups, counseling for individuals and couples at a reduced cost, and over 20 various social/support groups. The Center serves more than 15,000 individuals a year through its doors and over 8,000 a month online. The Center has a wide range of services and information they provide. They have tips and suggestions on all the places and things to do in Central Florida for the LGBTQ community. They offer tools to help citizens learn while also encouraging personal growth. The Center stresses how important volunteers are in helping them stay open and be there for the community. By visiting the Contact Us tab on their website anyone can get connected in their efforts.
