IKEA Orlando Designs and Installs $10,000 in IKEA Product for Zebra Coalition®

Last week the Zebra Coalition® drop-in center for LGBT+ youth, offices for employees and apartments for LGBT+ homeless youth were transformed thanks to IKEA Orlando and all of you, our supporters.

Thanks to your votes Zebra Coalition® was named one of 38 charitable organizations across the country that was awarded $10,000 each in IKEA product, services and in-kind donations through the Life Improvement Challenge campaign.

The install includes: storage and shelving for our food, clothing and hygiene bank; non-perishable foods for the bank; a grill for cookouts at our drop-in center; lounge seating for our drop-in center; shelving for our lending library; storage for a resource area that will provide community and program information; towel sets and robes for the drop-in center, where youth can use the shower and laundry facilities; office storage solutions for employees; video games; and furniture, supplies and decor for new apartments that will provide shelter for LGBT+ homeless youth.

Take a look at what your votes and support helped accomplish.

Thank you to IKEA Orlando for their incredible work and ongoing support. And thank you again for your votes and making this possible for our community’s LGBT+ youth.
