There are two candlelight vigils being held in Orlando next week for Gay Teen Suicide Awareness.
Wednesday, October 20th, Lake Eola @ 7pm
Thursday, October 21st, UCF Reflection Pond @ 8:00pm
The events have been created to remember the youth we have lost, raise awareness, and provide hope and support to our local LGBT youth.
The Lake Eola vigil will have an open forum for individuals and organizations to share and learn about programs and assistance available to LGBT youth in our community.
The UCF vigil is focused on supporting the UCF student body, youth, and community partners that can directly affect anti-harassment and bullying programs. Please contact Tyler Teegs at tylerteegs@knights.ucf.edu to learn how you can support the UCF Vigil.
